SISTERS IN THE WILD.
bringing community to life.
-
the brief.
Sisters in the Wild asked me to create a short video that captured the spirit of their community and responded to a funding call.
The goal was to reflect the joy, inclusion, and impact of their events, while creating something that could also be reused beyond the grant application.
-
The approach.
We built the story around three core ideas: who we are, what we do, and what this funding could help us grow.
Using a mix of video clips, and voice notes from past participants, I shaped a narrative that felt warm, energetic, and true to the SITW vibe.
-
the outcome.
The final cut answered the grant question while doubling as a flexible promo piece.
Two versions were delivered, one tailored to the application, and one clean cut for general use across social and funding comms.
-
the challenges.
Most footage was vertical and low-res, so I leaned into strong visuals, added upbeat voice notes, and layered in motion and text to build energy.
Gathering real voices from the community helped bring authenticity and emotion to the story.
